16 Favorite Chairs out of High Point Market

16 Favorite Chairs out of High Point Market

After spending last week shopping the 10 million square feet of showrooms at the Fall 2011 High Point Furniture Market, the soles of my sneakers are smoking! Here are my personal picks for preferred seats in the largest home furnishings trade show in the world. All these are either available through your interior designer, or you can check the manufacturers’ websites for retailers near you.

Pangaea Interior Design, Portland, OR

I discovered this beauty in the Vanguard showroom and believed it was one of the very elegant chairs at the whole show. The shape is just to-die-for and it’s super comfortable. The large scale pattern in chocolate, amethyst and yellow is a show-stopper!

Pangaea Interior Design, Portland, OR

I loved the Cline high-backed seat with this bold yellow, gray and white stripe cloth revealed at Hickory Chair. A very new look on a classic style.

Pangaea Interior Design, Portland, OR

Large scale patterns were evident in all of the showrooms. This citron and lotion pattern was a real standout. Additionally from Hickory Chair.

Pangaea Interior Design, Portland, OR

Bolier is one of my favourite furniture lines. Their graceful, pieces are fantastic for clean-lined, modern spaces. Many of the pieces are quite minimal, but never boring, as you can see in the detail about this seat back.

Pangaea Interior Design, Portland, OR

Sometimes these sleek, swooping lines look great, but aren’t comfortable. I definitely was amazed by how wonderfully inviting and comfortable this modern cushioned seat was American Leather.

Pangaea Interior Design, Portland, OR

Very Star Trek, do not you believe? I would fight Captain Kirk for it, though. Comfortable and it swivels too! From Star International.

Pangaea Interior Design, Portland, OR

This laser-cut, natural leather chair has enough give. Best for a super modern area. From Modloft.

Pangaea Interior Design, Portland, OR

I lean toward modern pieces so am normally not into wingbacks, but I loved this updated one at American Leather. The lines, color, and large-scale pattern all work to get a more transitional or modern space.

Pangaea Interior Design, Portland, OR

Bernhardt had another great looking wingback. The soft gray upholstery, clean lines and absence of nail heads convert this classic into a transitional piece.

Pangaea Interior Design, Portland, OR

American Leather was one of my preferred showrooms. This little T-back seat fit me just perfect. The back is at just the perfect height for resting your arms.

Pangaea Interior Design, Portland, OR

Tara Shaw Maison had the most special dining seat. I loved the subdued scenery of ancient ruins to the upholstery and the depth of the little silver handle on the cover of the back.

Pangaea Interior Design, Portland, OR

This all-wood dining seat from Copeland has such a beautiful shape; it appears like it might just take flight. It works nicely with either mid-century contemporary or modern spaces. For a non-upholstered seat it was amazingly comfortable.

The two-color fabric program with nail heads and timber cap on top are breathtaking details about these dining chairs from Vanguard.

Pangaea Interior Design, Portland, OR

This seat from Taylor King is a beauty for traditional design, but the yellowish and gray upholstery are completely current.

Pangaea Interior Design, Portland, OR

Doryas luxury furniture line featured accent fabrics to give classic lines a shot of design.

Pangaea Interior Design, Portland, OR

I just believe this seat is exceptional. Love the suede leather wrap around back with contrasting seat. Just plain cool! From Vanguard.

Black Wallpaper: Don't be Afraid of the Dark

Black Wallpaper: Don't be Afraid of the Dark

Do you adore black partitions but are too scared to go with solid black paint? Subsequently black background may be a great middle ground for you. A black, patterned background can break up the darkness while still giving your chamber the wealthy beauty of a black painted wall. Browse these black paper ideas to see how you do not have to be afraid of the dark!

Atmosphere Interior Design Inc..

Sometimes a modern and white pattern can be dizzying. Black with a metallic pattern is a softer contrast.

Judith Balis Interiors

The black in this paper is divided with a tone-on-tone floral pattern. It’s subtle, so it gives the sensation of a solid black.

Atmosphere Interior Design Inc..

A change in sheen is only sufficient to break up an otherwise solid black.

Ferm Living Shop

Branch background – $115

This paper is quite solid yet still split with a white tree branch pattern. In general, it’s a large pattern that could look great in a large-scaled room, but the willingness of the pattern produced up from the slender branches allows it also to work well in a smaller area.

Wallpaper Direct

Quentin’s ABC – GBP 39

A lot of people cringe when any conversation of using black partitions in a child’s area comes up. I think using this chalkboardlike wallpaper blueprint could be perfectly acceptable!

Kerrie L. Kelly

When you state grasscloth, most people initially will think neutral. However, a black grasscloth is a way to go daring while adding a subtle texture. This treatment may look fantastic in styles from modern to traditional.

Tracy Murdock Allied ASID

I love a room with some wackiness or a sense of humor. This confront pattern certainly divides the black. At firms such as Printed Space, you can even have your personal picture digitally printed onto a background that custom fits your area.

F. Schumacher & Co..

Crocodile, Jet

Add an exotic touch to a room with this traditional crocodile-skin pattern. The realistic, nature-inspired style creates a subtly striped texture on the wall.

Metal Roofing Consumer Guide

Metal Roofing Consumer Guide

According to statistics, Huntsville roofing has become more popular through the years, which is a clear indication of the fact that homeowners and builders are becoming aware of the many benefits it offers. As a matter of fact, there’s a wide variety of metal roofing products currently available in your local hardware stores.

Today’s residential and commercial metal roofing solutions are purposely developed and designed with safety, durability, low maintenance, aesthetic value, and ease of installation in mind. Because of this, roofing contractors Huntsville AL has become lightweight, long-lasting, appealing to look at, and fire-resistant. What’s more, it’s great in complementing a home’s overall look and feel.

To ensure that you pick the best metal roofing material for your home, below is a simple metal roofing buyer’s guide:

Choosing a Look

roofing companies Huntsville AL exudes different styles and looks, depending on the type of material used. The common ones are steel, alloys, copper, and aluminum. Because most of them are expensive, steel and aluminum are the ones that you often see used in homes.

When you choose a metal roof, you can begin by identifying which look will be most suitable for your property. Metal roofing solutions often come in distinct forms: shingles and panels.

There are also different variations of the two categories namely:

Rib-Steel Panels – Often used on home designs from cabin homes to modern masterpieces. However, they don’t complement a home with colonial style architecture.

Steel Shingles – They are entirely different from rib-steel panels. Steel shingles are usually shaped to imitate tile, slate, or wood shakes without compromising strength.

Pros

Metal roofing trumps traditional materials on these aspects:

Durability – Apart from being capable of surviving high winds, shedding snow easily, and sealing out water, roofing Huntsville AL is also resistant to insects, fire, mildew, and rot. As a result, it lasts longer especially when it’s properly installed. Only engage with seasoned metal roof contractors to safeguard your investment.

Weight – Most varieties weigh up to 150 lbs per square. On the other hand, metal roofing is lightweight especially if you compare it to concrete and tile roofs.

Ease of installation – Metal roofs can be easily installed as they come in multiple sections. Metal roof panels also come in 12 to 36 inch sheets.

Fire resistance – A metal roofing is given a fire rating of Class A for the reason that metal is noncombustible. Part of the classification will depend on the materials that are underneath the surface. If you use combustible materials, they can ignite when they are exposed to burning fire.

Cons

Although metal roofs offer many benefits, there are drawbacks that are worth mentioning.

Initial cost – Metal roofing’s initial cost is almost the same as of all the other premium materials. However, you’ll be able to save more because the material is low maintenance and durable. If you plan to stay in your home for a long time, then you can definitely get an ROI.

Noise – Raindrops that are constantly tapping on your roof can be annoying. There’s, however, a solution to the problem and that’s by installing over asphalt.

To ensure that you’re getting the best out of your metal roofing Huntsville AL, only hire roofing specialists that are from established and reputable roofing companies.

12 Retro Pieces to Accent a Contemporary Space

12 Retro Pieces to Accent a Contemporary Space

Love your modern home but itching to add a feeling of yesteryear? The answer could lie in the addition of just the right decorative piece. Not only do retro pieces triumph in introducing that feeling of nostalgia your interior could be craving, but a lot of them also mix well into modern settings. Check out these house interiors for types of bits to consider, and see how they combine in modern spaces without moving’70s cliché.

Elad Gonen

A shag rug. This entire area is succulent with retro dash — mid-century furniture, yellow and purple upholstery, a green wall panel — but that shag rug is the cherry on top. Layer it on herringbone wood floors and accent it with a modern piece of art and you’re mod retro all the way.

Susan Diana Harris Interior Design

A geometric area rug. If the shag isn’t doing this for you, go for some geometry. It is equally retro and likely less maintenance. You can up the ante of your aesthetic allure with mid-century furniture or scale back with modern choices. Either will work with this rug.

Kaylovesvintage

The Eames Chair. You really can’t fail with this seat; it manages to feel chic, modern and timeless all at once, which means you may use them forever. Pick colors like burnt oranges and greens to enhance the retro nostalgia.

Elliott Kaufman

A “Love” poster. Ok, pretty much any art that expresses”love” will probably be associated with the’60s. But the colour and makeup of this specific poster by Alexander Girard is a retro beat above the rest that will still have a house in any modern interior.

Kristen Rivoli Interior Design

The Mobius Table from DWR. Oh, those table legs! The neighborhood will be speaking about how cool this table is. It is mid-century contemporized by means of a glass top. Pair it with a neon lamp and brightly upholstered furniture. Along with the neighbors will proceed from speaking to drooling.

Amy Lau Design

A colorfully colored credenza. Is it modern? Can it be retro? That’s the point; it’s a bit of both. The blue and yellow point to yesterday, the contour can swing both ways, and the stainless steel feet give it the modern edge. Discuss killing two birds with one stone!

David Lauer Photography

A wooden credenza. This one, all wood with skinny legs, is definitely more classic retro. Keep it in the modern world by accessorizing it with modern knickknacks.

Kristen Rivoli Interior Design

A futon. Were not think futons had everywhere outside college campuses? Think again. Not only will they accomplish this retro feel, but they will save space in tiny dens or offices while still providing an excess spot to sleep to the occasional guest. When decorating about it, treat it like a sofa. You’ll discover it will easily transition to your modern space.

Kaylovesvintage

The F511 Lounge Chair from YLiving. This seat makes me want to kick back and listen to the Stones on vinyl. It is certainly an investment bit.

Lola Nova

A mid-century office seat . What a great juxtaposition between this burnt-orange chair and the romantic floral drapes with table. This sign of an unexpected Adirondack seat gives the whole setup a splash of pizzazz.

Scheer & Co..

Colorful dishware. Irrespective of how modern your own kitchen is, it can always benefit from a pair of dishware in unexpected colours. Instantly retro, immediately chic.

Funky accessories. Too nervous to go all the way with a large piece? Make some space on a console or side table for some accessories with a retro kick.

Guest Picks: Colorful Appliances

Guest Picks: Colorful Appliances

Instead of adding colour with fresh paint, tiles, countertops or flooring, why don’t you just add a vibrant appliance in your kitchen to decorate it up? It may always be eliminated or exchanged when you sell the house for quick, easy and vibrant alterations. Below are some funky, contemporary, and retro appliances, with colours to match every taste. — Ewa from Delishhh

EatSmart Precision Retro Mechanical Kitchen Scale – $27.75

Should you cook and bake a lot, I am sure you have a scale. But the majority of us (I know I do) have a small plastic digital scale which only sits in the drawer someplace. I would love one of those that I can leave on the counter: not only can it be a classic retro design but also has a large capacity bowl and an over-sized dial for easy reading all in stunning red. Even when you didn’t use a scale I would say to buy one of them for decoration in your kitchen — just use it for fruit instead, like the image.

Amazon

Espressione 1385O Cafe Retro Espresso Machine – $399.99

Many people want some sort of espresso machine inside their own kitchen, so why don’t you get a funky red one? Not only will you have great espresso but it is going to brighten up your kitchen, too. I love this cool-looking retro design; it even makes coffee-making look interesting!

KitchenAid

KitchenAid Stand Mixer Cook to the Cure® Edition – $299.99

If you’re like me, you probably have a KitchenAid mixer once you got married, at a time once the choices were only white, black or silver. Today they come in every fabulous color imaginable, and should you bake a lot, this mixer will probably sit in your counter the majority of the time. I’d love a pink one to liven my white kitchen!

Bodum

BISTRO Toaster Orange – $59.95

I’d love this toaster. Most of us have some boring stainless steel or white toaster sitting on the counter just looking horrible — not only would I love to get rid of my white toaster, but I would love to get you to bring some colour to my kitchen. What I love most about it is that it doesn’t even appear to be a toaster !

Bodum

BISTRO Electric Hand Mixer Lime Green – $59.95

I love, love, love all about this mixer: the design, the colours, as well as the two cool-looking red buttons. This is just another one of those tools you utilize all of the time, so you want it to be vibrant and fun to use. A perfect hand mixer for a chef.

georgeforemancooking.com

G-Broil George Foreman Grill – $49.99

I need a new George Foreman Grill. I have a white one that’s difficult to clean, so that I hide it in one of my drawers. These come in all sorts of colours and are easy to use, but above all, they’re easy to clean. This is the only I’ll be getting in a few weeks to replace my old hard-to-clean grill.

homeeverything.com

Bertazzoni Professional X365GGVGI 36-Inch Gas Range – $6,305

This stove to me is magnificent. Most of us dream about wood or white kitchens but just get stainless steel or black appliances, and why not have your stove stand out with some colour? If you’re going to spend lots of money on a stunning stove you want it to stand out, so splurge on it instead of a vibrant backsplash or artwork.

Crock-Pot

Crock-Pot Cook & Carry Slow Cooker – $39.99

The famous slow cooker: I haven’t gotten one yet, but I am keeping my eyes open. I understand for most people this toaster will sit on the counter cooking for hours, so why not have something nice there? When I am ready to receive my slow cooker, this is the only I’ll be receiving.

Sur La Table

Cuisinart Classic Frozen Yogurt Ice Cream and Sorbet Maker – $59.95

It’s summer, and I have been making ice cream weekly. Now if I could only have an ice cream maker that looks as bright and tasty as the ice cream I create. This blue colour is fabulous — I’d love to have this sitting on my counter turning all summer long.

Amazon

Cuisinart 15 Piece Compact Portable Blender – $69.95

I am one of those people who utilizes my food processor every day; when I am not making soup in it, I am creating a dressing or my morning smoothie. What I really like about this one isn’t only as it comes in many different colors that will look great hanging out on my counter, in addition, it comes with to-go cups in matching colours! Perfect for a smoothie on the go.

Sur La Table

Cuisinart SmartStick Immersion Blender – $29.95

Since I invest a lot of time in my kitchen, I feel all of my tools should be colorful and fun to use. I think that is a part of the fun of this — not only creating things but using fun tools to make them too. I’d love to get a blue hand mixer, instead of my off-white one.

Goal

Emerson Six Slice Toaster Over – $49.99

Where is your toaster oven? I know mine is sitting on the counter, but I wish I had a pay for this. I am considering getting you to bring a little colour to my kitchen counter. I love the reddish sides — just magnificent.

Goal

Hello Kitty Microwave – $70

I really like the idea of a microwave for your kid that may sit someplace lower where they could reach it. I think getting a microwave that’s particularly for your kid, like this cute Hello Kitty one, will make them use it more.

Amazon

Nespresso Aeroccino and Milk Frother – $99

I love creating lattes, but among the problems is how difficult it is to create steamed milk unless you have these froth machines. You just pour your milk in there and press on the button, it’s as simple as that. Not only do I love this machine for its simplicity, but also the colour too — the ideal addition to my coffee maker.

shopstyle.com

Cuisinart Citrus Juicer – $29.95

This is just too cute. How a lot of you have a juice squeezer that’s stained and white? I do, and I don’t leave it out due to that. But this one is cute enough to leave out all of the time — I love the lime green colour that will brighten up my white kitchen.

westonsupply.com

Roma Express Electric Pasta Machine – $169.99

I am a massive pasta lover and’ve always wanted a pasta maker at my property. Most of the pasta makers I have seen around are stainless steel and pretty boring, and as nearly all of them are pretty large you want to be able to leave it on the counter. I think I have finally found the ideal one: the beautifully-designed body and mix of red and chrome are just magnificent.

Amazon

Swissmar Sierra 11-Piece Meat Fondue Set – $65

I love having fondue parties, and even when I do not have them quite often, I would love this collection as a centerpiece in my own kitchen for decoration. It is stunning, and I love the red kettle with black forks. You may place this on a shelf in the center of the kitchen on top of a counter — it will look good everywhere.

jlhufford.com

Ascaso Conical Burr Espresso Grinder – $299

If you’re like me, I bet you have a white grinder coffee around it sitting next to the coffee machine — not quite appealing. That is why I’d like a coffee grinder similar to this one: not only can you maintain your coffee beans showing on top as a decorative thing, but also the grinder itself is cool-looking and comes in all these fabulous colours. This is a coffee grinder you definitely want sitting out in your own counter .

Bill Chill Retro Refrigerator – $2,695

Picture: an all-white kitchen with just a pop of orange from this fridge sticking out. Not only do I love its bright colour but also the retro design is awesome too — just have a look at those handles and curved corners. Everyone that comes over will ask you about this refrigerator, and in the event that you can not get one in your own kitchen, try it to your cellar, media room or person cave.

Amazon

Zojirushi Rizo Micom 3-Cup Rice Cooker and Warmer – $128

Among my most boring appliances would be that my rice cooker: the white shade just ruins my stunning kitchen. Should you cook rice a lot and have your rice cooker sitting out on the counter, this is a fabulous alternative. Sleek and simple, but with just a little colour.

To Hide Those Messy Wires

To Hide Those Messy Wires

As we all become more and more tethered to our digital devices, wire direction is a challenge just about everyone faces. It’s especially tough when trying to achieve timeless, uncluttered design. Who wants to see wires mucking a beautiful composition?

Thankfully, our reliance on technology has created a market for managing it there are tons of products on the market to help us out, while creative architects and architects are coming up with solutions of their own to maintain wires under control and out of sight.

Of course, the best solution would be to completely incorporate cables into a style (where possible), which demands a great deal of preparation and and healthy dose of structure. Let’s look at a few examples of how to build in wire management, as well as working it into houses, for those people who can’t create permanent changes to our houses, for one reason or another.

Scheer & Co..

In my previous apartment, my husband took great pains to maintain the floors in our house office wire-free. He used zip ties and eye hooks to mount all our components to the underside of our wood desk. If you are not the DIY/handy kind and prefer to buy something to handle wires, you are in luck…

Room & Board

Cord Management Straps – $9

Room and Board’s cable management goods (leg, horizontal and flexible) are fantastic solutions for those pesky-but-essential computer wires.

Bluelounge

CableDrop – $10

If you are anything like me, keeping components nearby and accessible is perfect, but they can be unsightly, or fall to the floor and immediately become”lost.” Blue Lounge’s smart CableDrop is a nice solution.

Bluelounge

CableBox – $29.95

Don’t have the choice of mounting wires and other components to a hidden-away place? Pop your power strip (along with the mangled cables attached to it) into this neat little box and the issue is solved. Vacuum, dust, mop — do what you need to do; so this little guy is on your side.

Everyone appears to want to mount their flat screen TV on a wall nowadays, and it’s easier than you think — even if you are a renter and you are not supposed to penetrate walls.

A small hole can be bored in wires and shingles can be brought up to the desired elevation without a lot of fuss. Obviously, it will help to get built-in bookcases like these, which provide a bit more room for pulling wires around.

The Red Jet

If you are in love with a light fixture or a sconce like this one, but don’t have the choice to hardwire it, then install it near window or door trim, in which you can frequently staple the wire and also paint it so it blends in a bit.

Rodriguez Studio Architecture PC

Have a queue from lofts and let conduits do the hiding.

Scheer & Co..

Some wall-mounted light fixtures come complete with a conduit which matches the finish and is much more than presentable.

Like built in shelving, wood paneling provides you a little extra drama in terms of wire-hiding and electronics-mounting capabilities.

ZMK Group, Inc

If your house or apartment did not come complete with flooring outlets, place area rugs to function to conceal cords and wires so that you may float furniture without fretting about how to plug in such matters as lamps, computers and clocks.

Alexander Johnson Photography

Furniture with back panels create our lives easier. If your outlets are located a little high on the wall, then a table like this will help conceal any wires. If outlets are closer to the baseboard, the panel shields a great deal of the wire, which makes it far more inconspicuous!

Kristen Rivoli Interior Design

Wires are an inescapable part of our lives, however minimizing how much we see of these makes our living spaces a lot more serene. This little table lamp must plug in somewhere, but hiding the outlet behind the drawer section of the desk hides the”ugly” section of this lamp.

Roger Hirsch Architect

Desks with extra thickness, like this one, which has pencil drawers, give us more flexibility in terms of hiding wires, as the lip of the desk can conceal all types of industrial-looking wiring.

Made in Layout

Cable Turtle by Pop Corn – GBP 5.90

Untangling wires likely eats up 15 percent of my daily life — an unacceptable percentage. I’m very seriously considering obtaining Pop Corn’s Cable Turtle to maintain my iPod and hands-free mobile phone ear buds in check. The less time I have to spend unfurling them, the better off we ALL are.

The mat you use in your framed art is more important than you might think. There are just two reasons for matting art: It keeps the glass separated out of your art work so that it will not adhere to the glass, and it enriches your art.

A pad provides needed space so that your eye can hone in on the art and it does not get cut off at the framework, particularly when you use chunky eyeglasses. Here are some tips:

Laura Trevey

What type of mat will protect your art/photos long-term? You have choices, so be aware of exactly what the mat is made of; a few materials can actually damage your art.

There are three common types of mats you can buy: paper mats, Alfa mats, or rag mats. The difference between them is that the acid.

Paper mats, made of paper pulp, would be the most inexpensive and utilized with a great deal of frames that come with the mat. These mats have a great deal of acid in them that causes the borders to turn brown. Finally this can ruin the art as the acid leaks into it. It’s possible to spot a white paper mat by taking a look at the beveled edge where it meets the art. It won’t look pure white.

Alpha-cellulose mats are made of wood pulp chemically treated to remove acids that can decay artwork.

A rag mat is a obviously acid-free mat board made from cotton. These mats don’t have any acid, along with the cut edges remain pure white eternally. Rag mats, used by museums, are a popular choice for keeping art safe.

Go to get a rag or alpha mat to get art you want to protect forever. If you are getting a mat from an expert framer, make sure it does not have any acid in it.

The usage of crisp white mats unifies a vibrant gallery of framed pieces of art. The consistent ring of color will also add width and height to each piece, allowing your eye to focus on each individual piece of art.

Do not skimp on the dimensions of the mat. I believe at least two inches of mat thickness work for art 11″x14″ or smaller, making fantastic separation from the framework. For larger pieces, try a mat at least three inches broad. Even from far away, the large mat draws the eye toward the framed piece, and even toward a particular key element of the item.

Maria Killam

When picking a mat for photographs, go with a wider mat (more than three inches wide) in white or off-white for a sharp look. It will look sleek and modern in a gallery-like grouping.

For Folks design

An oversize mat can provide little art more existence, either alone or within a group.

Layered mats produce an intriguing look for black-and-white art, also. Tie at the base mat color with the framework color (black when using a dark frame, gray or silver when using a silver frame, etc.), then use a nice light neutral on shirt to get a clean, modern feel.

Paula Grace Designs, Inc..

Although white is the most frequently encountered mat color, try other neutrals in the taupe and gray households too. It will add a soft end without overpowering your own piece. The taupe color works particularly well with golden frames, along with the gray colors are nice complements to silver frame finishes.

Elizabeth Hanley Design

Do you have different sized art but need them to fit in precisely the exact same size of framework? No problem! Utilizing the largest piece of art, find the ideal size mat and frame for it. Get enough of these frames for each of the smaller art you need to hang. Subsequently at a professional woodworking shop, get the framer to personalize mats to fit the art on your own frames.

Design+Develop

I’ve worked with professional framers who advocate staying away from mats that are brighter or darker in the art. When I need to add color to my mat, I use numerous mats, using my dark or bold color on the initial layer so only a little complementary color shows through.

VisuaLingual

Select your mat color based on which will best complement the art — not the space you are hanging it. Notice the way the mat color differs on the largest artwork in this picture, yet it suits it perfectly and adds character to the structure.

Kati Curtis Design

If going over a big piece of furniture, equilibrium the piece by employing a wider mat. The piece of art gets large, accountable, and striking with just a crisp white framework.

CWB Architects

If you have a whole lot of photos or art to hang, you can save yourself money by reusing frames you may already have, or purchasing secondhand frames from your local frame shop or art supply shop. Then have an expert framer switch out the paper mat to an acid-free rag mat.

When redecorating, how to start? One way is exactly what the authors call “White Space Design.” This refers to a blank piece of paper for a strategy and “removing all the elements out of your room, either physically or mentally, by drawing up a totally new floor plan.” The effect in this dining area are light walls that keep the room bright and also help the warm hardwood floors glow.
